Your keen eye for quality control and ability to select the right timber to meet order requirements will be essential. Additionally, you will be expected to take on other duties as required, making each day varied and engaging.
Candidates should be physically fit and able to work independently. A thorough understanding of relevant machinery and timber products is crucial. Proficiency in operating Resaw, CNC Moulder, 6-head Planer, Thicknesser, and Spindle Moulder is required, along with experience in using Sideloader and Counterbalance forklifts. The ability to comprehend and execute instructions on sales orders is also essential.
Flexibility in working hours and the willingness to work at remote branches when needed are key aspects of this role. Compliance with the Mid-Sussex Timber Hand Book, Absence Management Book, Health and Safety Book, and Company Procedures is mandatory. Continuous development and improvement are encouraged, with a focus on efficiency, cost reduction, and increased output.
