Job Description
We are seeking reliable and compassionate Casual Ambulance Drivers to support our team at the Leah Manning Centre. This role is essential in ensuring safe and comfortable transport for frail elderly residents across Harlow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Transport service users to and from the Leah Manning Centre from various locations within the town
* Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of vehicles, ensuring they are taken for scheduled servicing and MOTs via our partner agency
* Work flexibly to meet service needs, typically between:
* Morning: 8:30am - 11:00am
* Afternoon: 2:30pm - 4:30pm
Requirements:
* Full, clean UK driving licence with Category D1
* Valid MIDAS certificate or willingness to undertake training
* Strong geographical knowledge of Harlow
* Proven experience working with elderly people and ensuring the safe journey to and from the centre to their homes
* Professional, courteous, and safety-focused approach
Additional Information:
* This is a casual role with hours based on service demand
* Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
