Mixed Veterinary Surgeon | Kildorrery, County Cork | Full Time | Monday–Friday 9:00–18:00, with a 1 in 3 rota for evenings and weekends | €50,000–€70,000 DOE
Our client’s veterinary clinic was established in 1958, providing round-the-clock, quality veterinary services in North Cork and the surrounding area.
They strive to provide the very best care to meet all of their clients’ pets’ welfare needs and to ensure the highest quality of life through preventative medicine, education, respect, and a commitment to excellence.
Are you the right person for the job?
Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a veterinary role
Is confident working independently
Enjoys a varied caseload of small and large animals
Eager to develop professionally and benefit from mentoring
Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
Committed to high hospital standards and supporting a team environment
What will your role look like?
Conduct small animal consultations and surgery, including follow-ups and chases
Perform routine large animal work and call-outs
Carry out routine surgeries
Work independently while being supported by mentoring
Help maintain hospital standards and support colleagues with professional development
Deliver excellent client communication
What can you expect in return?
23 days of annual leave
Travel expenses are provided at €7,500–€10,000 per annum
Paid Veterinary Council and Veterinary Defence Society membership
5 paid CPD days per year, with encouragement for ongoing professional development
A company vehicle will be provided if needed
