You must have an NVQ for welding or recognised apprenticeship, City and Guilds.
MMA welder - Must be eligable to work in the UK!!
Weld test- open root Butt in vert and overhead position plus a series of fillet welds.
* Rates for a MMA welder
* £29.34 per hour (basic, 38 hours)
* £41.08 per hour (Overtime A)
* £52.82 per hour (Overtime B)
* £2.94 bonus per hour subject to certain conditions and paid monthly in arrears
* £355.67 lodge allowance per week
* 5% pension contribution from employer
These are PAYE positions with no exceptions, holiday pay plus pension.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in MMA stick welding on a site or workshop environment.
* Perform high-quality MMA welding tasks adhering to BS EN ISO 9606 standards.
* Current or lapsed MMA/111 welding codes in fillet and butt welds, 6G covers all positions.
* Adhere to strict health and safety rules.
* There will be shift patterns, including potential overtime.
* Maintain compliance with all necessary site certifications.
* CCNSG is preferred but not essential.
