Job Description
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
We are looking for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Undertaking the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment including split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps
* Servicing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multideck units, and ice machines
* Interpreting installation designs and manufactures troubleshooting procedures
* Completing all work-related documentation, including inspection logs and remedial reports
* Participating in an On-Call rota
* Using handheld computer devices (PDAs) to complete tasks and documentation
To be successful for this Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer role you must have:
* Relevant qualifications e.g., FGAS & ODS regs, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent
* Experience within a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment
* A full, current driving licence and willing to participate in an On-Call rota
* Knowledge of Health & Safety practices, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of work
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
