Job Description
My client situated in the Bristol area is looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to support their operation around the county.
Purpose Statement - Mobile Electrical Engineer
To carry out the (ppm) maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial catering equipment, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.
All works undertaken in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act, company safety procedures and contract specification.
Key Accountabilities - Mobile Electrical Engineer
* Service, repair, and maintain commercial catering equipment, including but not limited to ovens, grills, dishwashers, and combination ovens.
* Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective repairs.
* Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and emergency breakdown response.
* Install new and replacement catering equipment and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
* Maintain accurate service records and complete job sheets.
* Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service.
* Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
* Good customer interface skills.
Technical Skills/ Knowledge - Mobile Electrical Engineer
* Demonstrate competence in all areas of your primary trade (with valid certification)
* Reasonable understanding and a proactive approach to the following trade skill:
* Electrical: Competent Fault finding; 18th Edition,
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* Experience working on commercial catering equipment is highly desirable.
* COMCAT qualifications (1, 3, 5) are an advantage but not essential.
* Full UK driving license.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Miscellaneous: meter reading; emergency light testing; water temperature recording; alarm testing.
Qualification/Person Specification - Mobile Electrical Engineer
ESSENTIAL
* Minimum of one trade qualification with bias on: Electrical: Competent Fault finding; 18th Edition,
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* Reasonable competence or a basic understanding of the other trades where certification permits
* Delivery of service excellence
PREFERABLE
* COMCAT qualifications (1, 3, 5) are an advantage but not essential.
* Reasonable competence or a basic understanding of the other trades where certification permits
DESIRABLE
* Minor building fabric items; controls / hydraulics / pneumatics as requested and when necessaryBefore You Apply
