Job Description

South West Mobile Electrician (Building Services)
 Location: Bristol / South West (Mobile Role)
 Salary: £45,000  Van  Travel Allowance

We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrician to join a leading Facilities Management provider covering the South West region, ideally based around Bristol.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role (8am–5pm), working across a portfolio of commercial sites. This is not purely electrical work and would suit someone with strong building services experience and a hands-on, multi-skilled approach.

The role will involve both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, along with a range of compliance duties across site systems.

Key responsibilities include:

Emergency lighting testing and inspections
L8 water hygiene checks and basic compliance tasks
Maintenance and fault finding on pumps, motors, and AHUs
Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and reactive repairs
Supporting general building services maintenance across sites
Participation in an on-call rota (currently 1 in 4, moving to 1 in 5)
Completion of job records via CAFM systemsRequirements:

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or ITAP)
Basic DBS (required)
Strong experience within building services / FM environment
Comfortable using CAFM systems and basic IT systems
Good communication skills and professional presentationAdditional information:

Company van provided
Travel paid after 1 hour each way (once 8 hours onsite is completed)
Weekly timesheets required (internal  agency)
Full induction carried out in Leatherhead
