Job Description

Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing construction and facilities management contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services across the South West and beyond. Following significant growth in recent years, they are looking to recruit a skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join their Facilities Management team covering West London and surrounding NW postcode areas.

The Role

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering reactive maintenance, planned works, and minor installations across a portfolio of commercial, industrial, and domestic properties.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance works.
Complete repairs and installations in line with service level agreements.
Undertake minor project and new works installations.
Ensure all works comply with current health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Accurately complete job documentation and update CAFM systems using a PDA.
Diagnose faults and provide recommendations for remedial works where required.
Work across commercial, industrial, and domestic environments.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
Undertake basic multi-skilled maintenance tasks where appropriate.
Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota and occasional overtime requirements.

Requirements

Essential

City & Guilds Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Previous experience within facilities management, building services, or maintenance environments.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Ability to use mobile technology, PDAs, and email systems.
Full UK Driving Licence.
