Mobile Fabric Technician
 London & South East | £35,000 - £40,000 + Company Van + Overtime + Training
 Are you an experienced Carpenter or Fabric Technician with fire door experience looking to join a growing specialist Fire Protection company?
 This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established contractor delivering fire safety projects across commercial, healthcare, education and public sector buildings. You'll mainly be carrying out fire door installations, remedial works and passive fire protection, with some general carpentry and making good following repairs.
 The Role
 As a Mobile Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for:

Installing and upgrading fire doors
Carrying out fire door remedial works
Fitting fire door ironmongery including hinges, closers, locks, seals and signage
Packing hinges, adjusting doors and ensuring doors meet compliance standards
Completing fire door inspections and identifying remedial works
Carrying out passive fire stopping around service penetrations
General carpentry including door frames, skirting, architraves and timber repairs
Installing timber hoarding where required
Making good after works, including basic painting and decorating
Travelling to commercial sites across London and the South EastWhat We're Looking For
 We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience as a:

Fire Door Installer
Fire Door Carpenter
Carpenter
Fabric Technician
Multi Trader with strong carpentry experienceYou'll also need:

Experience installing or repairing fire doors
Good carpentry and joinery skills
Full UK driving licence
A positive attitude and willingness to travel across London and the South EastExperience with fire stopping or fire door inspections would be an advantage but isn't essential.
