Job Description
Mobile Fitter (Agriculture & Plant)
Location: Bletchingdon, Oxfordshire
Salary: £25,000–£33,000 base
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 + Overtime paid at 1.25x
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Company
Interaction Technical is working with a well-established, family-run business that specializes in agricultural and plant machinery. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their service and repair team and are seeking a skilled engineer located within driving distance of Bletchingdon.

Key Requirements
- Experience in Plant, Automotive, HGV, or Agricultural sectors (essential)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems (essential)
- Engine experience is a plus
- Skilled in fault finding, servicing, and repairs
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering) are advantageous
- Full UK driving licence required
Role Responsibilities
- Travel to client sites to service and repair agricultural and plant machinery
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Work closely with clients to understand needs and offer expert advice
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Provide training and support to client staff on equipment use and upkeep
- Maintain accurate records of all service work and parts used
- Collaborate with the internal engineering team to share feedback and improve product performance
