Our client, a well-established material handling specialist, is seeking a dedicated Mobile Forklift Engineer to cover the Manchester area. This role offers an attractive hourly rate, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to grow as a Field Service Engineer.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse range of forklift trucks.
Applying your expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical engineering to resolve issues efficiently.
Interacting professionally with clients, providing updates on repairs and service schedules.
Maintaining accurate records of work completed and ensuring all paperwork is signed off.
Carrying out preventative maintenance with a proactive "fix first time" approach.What You'll Bring:
Experience diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining forklift trucks.
Relevant qualifications such as an NVQ in Plant Maintenance, Forklift Truck Maintenance, or Mechanical Engineering are preferred but not essential.
A full UK Driving License.
As a FLT Engineer, a commitment to delivering high-quality service.What's in it for you:
