Responsibilities and Duties
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs on a range of forklift trucks (diesel, gas, and electric)
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Provide a timely and professional response to customer breakdowns
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
Support customers with technical advice and guidance when required
Qualifications and Skills
Experience working as a forklift engineer or in a similar mechanical/electrical engineering role is essential
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, C&G or equivalent) are desirable.
