Forklift Field Service Engineer / Materials Handling Technician - Tyne & Wear
Looking for your next hands on engineering role with a great salary and your own van? We're recruiting skilled forklift engineers and service technicians to join a fast-paced field service team in Tyne & Wear. Earn up to £38,000, work independently on customer sites, and get your own company van. A clean driving licence is essential.

Every day is different, you could be diagnosing a fault one morning and completing an emergency repair the next. Your work keeps machinery running safely and efficiently, helping customers keep their operations moving.
What you'll be doing:
* Inspecting, servicing, and repairing forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment.
* Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
* Working safely and independently on customer sites, maintaining strong relationships.
* Completing accurate service documentation.
* Supporting both customer-owned and company machinery to ensure maximum uptime.
What we're looking for:
* Experience in materials handling, industrial machinery, or a similar technical role.
* Experience repairing plant machinery, forklifts, materials handling, powered access etc.
* Expertise across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
* Ability to work independently and safely on customer sites.
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
* Clean driving licence.
