Mobile Generator Engineer - Wellingborough Area
Location: Based near Wellingborough, covering the Midlands
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Company Van + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week, no weekends

We're a leading national plant hire company with 7 depots across the UK-and we're expanding. We're now looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile Generator Engineer to join our team near Wellingborough, covering the Midlands.
About the Role:
As a Mobile Generator Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a fleet of high-capacity generators (up to 1250kVA). Your duties will include:
Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on-site at customer locations
Diagnosing and troubleshooting generator faults, escalating complex issues when necessary
Planning and managing your own workload, ensuring you're equipped for each job
Working independently to deliver a high standard of service, minimising customer downtimeWhat We're Looking For:
Experience in mechanical/power engineering, ideally working with high kVA generators
Previous field service experience is highly beneficial
Full UK driving licence
Basic toolset required
Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow within the companyWhat You'll Get in Return:
Competitive basic salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (based on experience)
Overtime paid at 1.5x (outside core hours) and 2x (Sundays and after 10pm)
