The Opportunity
An established and growing commercial vehicle engineering business is looking to recruit experienced Mobile Tail Lift Engineers to join its field service team covering the North East and Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems and delivering first-class customer service. You'll be provided with a fully equipped company van and will visit customer sites carrying out servicing, inspections, repairs and maintenance on a variety of commercial vehicle lifting equipment.

The Role
As a Mobile Tail Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for:
·Servicing, repairing and maintaining tail lifts, lifting decks and commercial vehicle shutter systems.
·Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime.
·Completing LOLER Thorough Examinations and Annual Weight Tests in line with current legislation.
·Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
·Completing digital job reports and service documentation accurately.
·Delivering a professional and customer-focused service at client sites.
·Maintaining company vehicle, tools and stock levels.
·Working safely at all times, following Health & Safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
·Participating in overtime and on-call cover when required.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
·A full UK Driving Licence.
·Previous experience servicing and repairing tail lifts or similar commercial vehicle equipment.
·Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
·The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
·Good communication and customer service skills.
·Basic IT skills for completing electronic job reports.
Desirable Experience
·LOLER inspection experience or qualification.
·Experience working with commercial vehicle shutter systems.
·Experience with manufacturers such as Dhollandia, DEL, Ratcliff Palfinger, Zepro or Anteo.
·Previous experience in a mobile field service role.
·Engineering qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent.
