Mobile HGV / PSV Technician - UK-Wide Travel
We're recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV / PSV Technician to join a professional Service Market Team based in Coventry, with UK-wide travel. 
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys a varied role combining hands-on technical work, diagnostics, customer support and nationwide travel. 
You'll work closely with dealerships and service partners, providing technical support and carrying out inspections, repairs and rectification work across a wide range of commercial vehicles.
 
The Role 
As a Mobile HGV / PSV Technician, your responsibilities will include: 
·Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to manufacturer standards. 
·Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining HGV and PSV vehicles. 
·Providing technical support and guidance to dealerships and service partners. 
·Carrying out technical investigations and field-based rectification work. 
·Inspecting and preparing used vehicles to required quality standards. 
·Installing additional vehicle equipment, including CCTV, USB charging points and vehicle monitors. 
·Supporting customers and service teams with technical issues. 
·Travelling nationwide to complete inspections, repairs and technical support. 
·Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
 
About You 
We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician / PSV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician with: 
·NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent. 
·Proven experience within the HGV or PSV industry. 
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. 
·Good mechanical and electrical knowledge. 
·Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. 
·A professional and customer-focused approach. 
·A full UK driving licence. 
·PSV licence desirable but not essential. 
·Flexibility to travel throughout the UK.

·8:00am - 4:00pm when based at Coventry. 
·When working away from Coventry, an 8-hour working day applies.
