Job Description
Our client is currently looking to add a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician to their fantastic team in Northampton.
What they’re offering:
* Permanent role
* Basic salary £36,000 - £38,000 (flexible dependant on experience)
* Overtime available OTE up to £45,000
* Fantastic company benefits including 33 days annual leave.
* Company Van and Mobile.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers, maintaining the highest standards of safety and functionality.
* Accurately and efficiently complete all compliance documentation.
* Diagnose and resolve issues using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE.
* Participate in ongoing product and industry training, including IRTEC, tail lift, BPW & SAF axle/brake training to continuously develop your expertise.
* Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting tight deadlines.
* Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
* Semi-Trailer or Heavy Vehicle experience.
* Minimum 2 years industry experience.
* Good technical knowledge servicing and diagnostics.
* Diagnose and resolve issues using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE.
* Level 3 or level 2 NVQ or City and Guilds.
* Full Driving Licence.
