Job Description
We are looking for a HVAC Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Our client specialise in climate management and facilities maintenance across the UK, offering rewarding opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a HVAC Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
As the HVAC Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The HVAC Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Respond to and resolve reactive breakdowns and service calls.
* Perform routine maintenance on various air conditioning systems.
* Conduct F-Gas leak testing, pressure testing, and refrigerant recovery.
* Complete brazed pipework repairs and replace components such as fan motors, PCBs, sensors, and compressors.
* Work on a range of systems including splits, multi-splits, VRF, and VRV systems from brands such as Daikin, Panasonic, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Fujitsu, and others.
* Install and commission new air conditioning equipment.
* Accurately complete job reports and update digital systems.
To be successful for this HVAC Engineer role you must have:
* F-Gas Qualification (Category 1).
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or HVAC Engineering.
* Proven experience in reactive maintenance and servicing of commercial air conditioning systems.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
* Competent in completing job sheets and using computer-based systems.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Willingness to work overtime and travel as required, including occasional nationwide work and overnight stays.
* Must supply own hand tools; specialist tools and equipment will be provided.
