Randstad C&P are working with a global facilities management client who are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with an extensive Fire Door background. This role will cover a portfolio of commercial contracts across the North of England.
The Package:
Competitive salary of between £36,000 - £40,000 per annum.
Full-time, permanent opportunity.
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Core Duties
Perform scheduled and reactive remedial works, repairs, and adjustments on fire doors and frames.
Carry out inspections, installations and repairs identified on fire doors.
Assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks.
Assisti with other trades including general maintenance, minor joiner, minor plumbing etc.
Ensure all repairs and installations adhere strictly to regulatory standards.
Accurately complete all necessary compliance documentation, reports, and certification logs using mobile technology.
Collaborate with site teams and clients, ensuring high standards of workmanship and minimal operational disruption.
The Requirements:
Prior fire door experience (Essential)
NVQ Level 2 Carpentry (Desired)
Experienced within a similar maintenance/trades position.
Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
Ambitious attitude and readiness to specialise in fire safety compliance.
