We are currently seeking Mobile Fabric Technician to support our operational teams across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled trades professionals looking to develop their career within a global organisation that values safety, innovation, and service excellence.

About the Role

 As a Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across client sites, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out reactive maintenance tasks and repairs within agreed timescales.
Undertake basic fabric maintenance including carpentry, flooring, wall coverings, ceilings, and general building repairs.
Complete ceiling tile repairs and replacements.
Carry out lighting maintenance, lamp replacements, AHU/FCU filter changes, and basic plumbing tasks.
Conduct site surveys and assist in producing work requests, risk assessments, and method statements.
Utilise handheld devices (PDA) to manage work orders, updates, and communications.
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works, and minor project activities.
Build strong working relationships with client representatives and colleagues.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
Support additional maintenance and facilities tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager.

What We're Looking For

Essential

Previous experience in a Fabric Technician, Building Maintenance, Carpentry, or similar role.
City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent qualification in Carpentry.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements, including COSHH, Risk Assessments, and Working at Height.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads independently.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
IT literacy and experience using mobile devices for work management.

Desirable

IOSH and/or NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification.
Experience working within commercial or high-profile environments.
Multi-skilled maintenance experience.
