Mobile Plant Fitter
Location: Hertfordshire & Essex
Salary: £59,000 – £65,000 basic per year + Overtime at enhanced rates
Neos Engineering are partnered with a leading construction and civil engineering business who are looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join their team. This is a field-based position working across various sites, ensuring plant and machinery remain reliable, efficient, and safe.
The Role
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of mobile plant and construction machinery
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain productivity
Accurately complete all service and repair documentation
Adhere to company and site health & safety standards
The Candidate
Experienced in maintaining and repairing mobile plant or construction equipment
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Able to work independently in the field with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Flexible with working hours, including availability for overtime when required
Full UK driving licence essential
The Benefits
Competitive salary £59,000 – £65,000 basic per year
Overtime available at enhanced rates (Saturday work optional)
50-hour working week (Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm)
