Job Description

Mobile refrigeration engineer:
This role will see you covering a number of sites across the west london region performing PPM's, reactive maintenance, service and repairs of fridge /freezer units.
*
Perform PPMs, reactive maintenance, and repairs on refrigeration and freezer equipment across various retail sites
*
Diagnose and rectify faults on commercial refrigeration systems including display cases, cold rooms, and upright/under-counter units
*
Carry out routine inspections, system checks, and performance monitoring
*
Respond to call-outs in a timely manner, providing a professional and efficient service
*
Maintain detailed job reports and ensure compliance with F-Gas and health & safety regulations
*
Liaise with site staff and helpdesk to keep all stakeholders informed of job status and next steps
*
Ensure van stock levels are maintained and tools/equipment are in working order
Requirements to be accepted in this position
* At least 3 years experience working on similar role within the United Kingdom
*
Proven experience working as a refrigeration engineer in a commercial setting (retail/supermarket preferred)
*
Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills
*
F-Gas certification (Category 1) – essential
*
NVQ or City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning – preferred
*
Full UK Driving Licence – essential
*
Comfortable working alone and managing your own schedule
*
Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
