Job Description

Mobile Towbar Fitter - Home Based - Flexible Hours

  * £34,000 to £40,000 depending on experience and location

  * Plus bonus earnings up to £4,000 per year

  * Monday to Friday

  * Flexible working hours

  * Quieter period between October and January with full pay maintained

  * Company vehicle with fuel card and satellite navigation

  * Tools provided, with support to build your own kit

  * Tablet provided with full training

  * Workwear and PPE supplied

  * Overtime available during busy periods

  * Ongoing support from a dedicated team

  * 3 to 4 weeks training provided, working alongside an experienced fitter

THE COMPANY & ROLE

A leading UK automotive installation business with a strong nationwide presence. With a network of employed engineers operating across the country, they continue to grow due to high demand for their specialist services, with over (phone number removed) star reviews.

This role offers the opportunity to work independently while being fully supported by an experienced head office team who manage bookings, logistics, and customer coordination.

This is a field based role where you will work from home, travelling to customer locations within roughly a 80 mile radius.

Parts are delivered directly to your home, allowing you to plan your day efficiently.

Typically you will complete 2 to 3 jobs per day, depending on the vehicle and complexity.

There is flexibility around start and finish times, as long as the work is completed.

ESSENTIAL TO APPLY

  * Proven experience fitting towbars is highly desirable

  * Candidates with a strong mechanical or electrical background are encouraged to apply, including vehicle technicians, mechanical fitters, field service engineers, or those with hands on installation experience, full training can be provided

  * Ability to install electrics and wiring confidently, without supervision

  * Full UK driving licence

  * Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule

  * Strong focus on quality workmanship and customer service

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  * Install towbars and associated electrics on a range of vehicles

  * Travel to customer locations to carry out installations

  * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard

  * Maintain a professional and customer focused approach on site

  * Manage your own daily workload and travel efficiently

  * Complete job records using provided systems and equipment

Please note this role involves working outdoors throughout the year, and while flexibility is offered, some days may be longer depending on workload and travel.
