Job Description

We are currently recruiting for the position of Mobile Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established vehicle maintenance and repair specialist based in Manchester. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician professional to enhance their career within a reputable company recognised for specialising in fleet maintenance, diagnostics, and DPF cleaning. The Mobile Vehicle Technician will deliver on-site services across the North West region, including Manchester, ensuring vehicle performance and safety standards are maintained to the highest level.

 This Mobile Vehicle Technician role offers a competitive employment package, prospects for progression, and the chance to work within a supportive team environment.

Monday to Friday working hours with every other Saturday on call, with a midweek day off in lieu

Conduct on-site fleet repairs, regular maintenance, and DPF cleaning
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults with precision
Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs using hand and power tools
Maintain accurate and detailed service records for all work carried out
Support team members by sharing technical knowledge
Follow health and safety protocols at all times
Assist in mentoring junior technicians where required
Provide excellent customer service and uphold the company's service standardsRequirements for the Mobile Vehicle Technician position:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in vehicle diagnostics and repairs within the motor trade
Proven expertise in fleet maintenance and DPF cleaning processes
Strong mechanical skills and the ability to work independently
High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capabilities
Reliable, personable, and able to deliver quality service
