Job Title: Mobile Vehicle Technician
Location: Southampton & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (e.g. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team, covering the Southampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems on the go, and providing top-quality service directly to customers at their homes, workplaces, or roadside locations.
Key Responsibilities for Mobile Vehicle Technician
Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles at customer locations
Carry out routine maintenance tasks, safety checks, and MOT-preparation work
Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults
Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
Provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate records of work done
Maintain and manage stock in the mobile van unit
Requirements:Mobile Vehicle Technician
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and servicing
Full UK driving licence (clean or with minimal points)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Good communication and customer service skills
Flexible and adaptable with a proactive attitude
