Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
We are looking for a Mobile Water Hygiene Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mobile Water Hygiene Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
As the Mobile Water Hygiene Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Mobile Water Hygiene Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Complete routine monitoring tasks in line with ACoP L8.
* Travel to client sites to carry out PPMs and inspections.
* Maintain and update water hygiene logbooks.
* Collect and document water samples.
* Perform cleaning and disinfection of water systems.
* Test and service thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs).
* Carry out minor plumbing tasks.
* Maintain equipment and stock levels.
* Report completed tasks to the service department daily.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
* Use mobile devices to input data and reports.
* Carry out any reasonable tasks requested by management.
To be successful for this Mobile Water Hygiene Engineer role you must have:
* Experience in compliance servicing, Legionella monitoring, or water treatment.
* Relevant transferable experience if no direct water hygiene background.
* Advanced knowledge of water systems.
* Basic IT skills including use of tablets and Microsoft programs.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* High attention to detail and service quality.
* Commitment to health and safety standards.
* Positive attitude and professional work ethic.
