Mobilisation Operations Manager – Children’s Residential care North East England £65,000 + £5000 Car Allowance Requirements * Experience as a Registered Manager or regional-level operator in children's residential care services. * A proven track record of achieving at least ‘Good’ ratings in Ofsted or CQC inspections. * A Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification. * A valid UK driving licence. We’re seeking a Mobilisation Operations Manager to drive the growth of a cluster of new children's homes, working alongside a dedicated senior leadership team and ensuring they’re delivered to the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance. The Role As Mobilisation Operations Manager, you’ll take the lead in ensuring the successful day-to-day operation of 2-3 registrations across multiple sites, which are all in earlier stages of development. Reporting to the Regional Director, you’ll be responsible for recruitment and registration to ensure that these homes will deliver safe, high-quality care. Your key responsibilities will include: * Leading on the planning and delivery of new services across multiple locations * Conducting regular quality audits and tracking service improvements * Building and maintaining strong partnerships with local authorities The Ideal Candidate We’re looking for a confident and capable multi-site operator with a strong background in children’s residential care. You’ll need prior experience as either a Registered Manager or Operations Manager within the children’s social care sector, and a solid track record of leading services to achieve ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted ratings. You’ll also need to be: * Commercially aware, with experience managing occupancy and agency usage * Skilled in stakeholder engagement, particularly with local authorities * A strong, compassionate leader who can inspire and support Registered Managers * Aligned with innovative practice—our client is rolling out a pioneering multi-building home model that offers a fresh and flexible approach to residential care This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who’s ready to make a real impact and contribute to the long-term growth and success of an ambitious and child-focused organisation.
