New Opportunity - Mortgage Administrator (Permanent Contract) Join a leading financial services team based in Hebburn, where you'll play a key role in supporting clients through every step of their mortgage journey. We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Mortgage Administrator, or Mortgage Paraplanner, to join our client's busy central team. You'll be responsible for preparing, submitting, and progressing mortgage applications, ensuring a smooth, timely, and compliant process for both clients and lenders. Previous experience in financial services, particularly within mortgages, is highly beneficial but not essential. To succeed in this role, you'll need strong customer service skills and a solid foundation in general administration. Overview: 📍 Location: Hebburn, full office based 💰 Salary: Circa £26,000 per annum (depending on experience) 🕒 Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, start and finish times between 9AM - 7PM ➕ Additional: Weekend shift allowance of £75 per weekend worked, paid monthly 🗓 Typical Weekly Shift Pattern, Monday - Friday: 1x shift: 10am - 6pm 1x shift: 11am - 7pm 3x shifts: 9am - 5pm 1 weekend in every 4 (both Saturday and Sunday), with 2 days off in lieu (one before and one after the weekend) 🔑 Key Responsibilities: Submit and progress mortgage applications from start to finish Support advisers with documentation and client communications Manage inbound and outbound client calls with professionalism Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and third parties to move cases forward Book appointments for mortgage and protection reviews Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance throughout Use internal systems to manage and update client case files ✅ What We're Looking For: Previous experience in mortgage or financial services administration is preferred but not essential Excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills Ability to manage multiple cases with high attention to detail A proactive, positive team player with a strong work ethic Willingness to learn and grow - support is available to gain industry qualifications Good administrative skills 🌟 Why Join This Team?
