This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Mortgage Admin professional to join a highly successful team and take the next step in their financial services career. About the Role: As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a team of 6 Whole-of-Market Mortgage Brokers, managing a live pipeline of 30–40 mortgage applications at any one time. This is a client-focused role requiring diligence, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: * Serve as the primary point of contact for mortgage clients, providing timely updates and support throughout the application process. * Liaise daily with mortgage lenders and providers, chasing outstanding documents and ensuring smooth progression from application through to offer and completion. * Accurately review and process all incoming documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance with FCA guidelines. * Use industry-recognised mortgage processing software such as The Key (training provided if required). * Maintain a current understanding of mortgage products, lender criteria, and regulatory changes. * Support brokers and internal colleagues with administrative tasks to keep the pipeline moving efficiently. * Manage client files with the utmost confidentiality and in accordance with GDPR. Requirements & Key Skills: * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Mortgage Administrator or in a Mortgage Admin role. * A solid understanding of the full mortgage process from DIP through to completion. * Familiarity with whole-of-market mortgage environments and intermediary processes. * CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification is desirable but not essential. * Experience with The Key CRM system would be advantageous, but not essential. * Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple applications concurrently. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and approachable manner. * A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy across all documentation and data entry. * Ability to work autonomously and as a proactive part of a team. * Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
