Job Description

Anderson Knight is proud to be working with a reputable legal services provider to recruit a Mortgage Administrator to join their high-performing Remortgage team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in remortgage, conveyancing, or financial services who is looking to build a career in the mortgage and legal administration sector. You’ll play a key part in supporting the smooth progression of remortgage cases, ensuring that documentation is accurate, deadlines are met, and clients receive excellent service throughout the process. Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Salary: £25,000-£27,000 DOE Location: Glasgow City Centre (Fully office based) Key Responsibilities: • Progress remortgage cases from instruction through to completion using internal case management systems. • Review lender instructions, redemption statements, and title documentation. • Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, and third parties to obtain necessary information and documents. • Prepare and issue legal paperwork including completion and discharge forms. • Conduct routine checks (title, identity, and compliance). • Maintain accurate and timely updates across all active mortgage cases. • Monitor shared inboxes and respond promptly to enquiries. • Ensure full compliance with AML, GDPR, and internal operational procedures. • Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the team. Requirements: • Previous experience in a remortgage, conveyancing, or financial services admin role. • Solid understanding of the remortgage process and lender documentation. • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office – particularly Outlook and Word. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working with sensitive or regulated information (e.g. AML, GDPR).
