Job Overview
Our client is a specialist in Bridging, Buy to Let, Commercial, Specialist Residential and the 2nd Charge market and are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mortgage Advisor to join the team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial services and demonstrate proficiency in basic mathematics.
As a Mortgage Advisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring they receive tailored advice that meets their financial needs.
Your expertise will help clients navigate the complexities of securing a mortgage, contributing to their homeownership journey.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice on specialist mortgage products and services to clients.
* Assess clients' financial situations and recommend suitable mortgage options.
* Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, lending criteria, and regulatory changes.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the mortgage process.
Experience
* Minimum 18 months experience as a Mortgage Advisor
* Strong BTL Background Preferred
* Bridging, 2nd Charge and Commercial an Advantage but not essential
* Strong numerical skills with the ability to perform basic maths calculations accurately.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to clients.
* Proven ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Experience of specialist mortgage products such as buy to let and regulated bridging desirable.
