Our client, a reputable independent service centre based in Glastonbury, is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their busy workshop team. Duties of a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:
* Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Ministry standards
* Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
* Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing on various vehicle makes and models
* Identify safety, reliability, and performance issues, reporting findings to the Business Owner
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and quality standards at all times
* Assist at the front reception desk with customer enquiries, providing excellent customer service
* Maintain accurate records of work carried out and required follow-ups
* Support workshop operations to ensure smooth daily running
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester
* Valid MOT licence is essential; s with a full UK driving licence with minimal points will be considered
* Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Glastonbury
* Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail
* Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills
* Ability to produce high-quality work within designated time frames
* For qualified Vehicle Technicians seeking to obtain an MOT licence, our client is willing to support this qualification
