Job Description

Our client, a reputable manufacturer-owned automotive dealership in Stockport, is seeking a highly skilled MOT Technician to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals aiming to develop their career within a stable and progressive environment.

Servicing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards
Conducting MOT tests (where qualified) and basic diagnostics
Performing vehicle health checks via video and identifying additional work required
Ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard as an MOT Technician
Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional workshop environment
Upholding high standards of quality and first-time fix ratesRequirements of an MOT Technician:

NVQ / IMI or City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum) in Motor Vehicle Technology 
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Mechanic
MOT licence preferred (additional monthly salary uplift applicable)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
