Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected family-run service centre in Aldershot for the position of Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester. This MOT Technician role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled automotive Vehicle Technician / MOT Testers to join a stable and friendly environment with a renowned local business.
Benefits:
  * Competitive basic salary between £38,000 and £42,000, dependent on experience
  * Monday to Friday working hours, from 8am to 5pm, with no weekends or bank holidays

Duties:
  * Conduct Class 4 MOT tests on cars and light vans in compliance with DVSA standards
  * Perform routine vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs as required
  * Maintain accurate documentation of all vehicle test results and service records
  * Ensure all MOT activities adhere to DVSA MOT Testing Scheme guidelines
  * Maintain the cleanliness and operational status of MOT bay equipment
  * Support vehicle health checks, safety inspections, and post-repair assessments
  * Assist during vehicle diagnostics and additional examinations when required
  * Uphold the safety, security, and integrity of the MOT scheme at all times
  * Deliver high standards of customer service and technical expertise within the team
Requirements:
  * Fully qualified MOT Tester with a valid Class 4 certification
  * Previous experience conducting MOT tests on cars and light vans
  * Basic knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repairs
  * Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced automotive environment
  * Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
  * Valid MOT Tester’s certificate, or a recent qualification for re-examination
  * Proactive attitude with a commitment to quality and compliance
