Salary: £21 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week

a reputable local authority is seeking an experienced Class 4 MOT Tester to join our team on a temporary basis to cover staff absence. This vital role supports the safety of vehicles operating in the city by ensuring taxis meet legal and mechanical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards
Conduct mechanical inspections and safety checks of Private Hire vehicles
Ensure all vehicles comply with DVSA standards
Accurately complete all relevant documentation and reports
Requirements:
DVSA-approved MOT Tester qualification (Class 4)
Proven experience in MOT testing and vehicle inspections
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to work outside normal hours if required
Strong attention to detail and knowledge of current regulations
