Job Description
MOT Tester Required for Family Run Service Centre in Liphook, Hampshire.
Up to £40,000 per annum Depending on Experience
Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm Only
Family Run Service CentreWe are currently seeking to recruit a fully qualified MOT Tester to join our client’s busy Automotive Workshop in Liphook, Hampshire.
The position is based on Monday - Friday 8:00 – 5.30pm. We do not open on Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties
Servicing, Oil Filter, suspension, brakes and pads when MOT tests are not scheduled
Comply with health, safety and environmental legislation and policies
Assist with other duties as requiresEssential Skills:
Must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Experienced in carrying out all classes of skilled work involving inspection and maintenance
Experienced with modern diagnostic equipment and vehicle technology
Computer & Electrical literate
Has own tools and able to work self sufficiently in a workshop environment. The successful MOT Tester will ideally live within Liphook or be able to travel to the Liphook area and be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and repair.
