Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a talented MOT Tester to join a reputable automotive workshop in Leighton Buzzard.

 Our client, a well-established family-run business, is seeking a dedicated MOT Tester to ensure vehicle safety standards are maintained and customer satisfaction remains high. This MOT Tester role offers stability, a supportive environment, and opportunities for professional growth within a trusted team.

Benefits:

Competitive salary between £33,000 and £38,000, depending on experience
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:20am to 5:40pm

Perform MOT tests in compliance with DVSA regulations as an MOT Tester
Diagnose faults and advise customers on necessary repairs
Assist with general servicing and minor repairs when required
Accurately complete all relevant documentation and records
Ensure all vehicles meet safety and environmental standards as an MOT Tester
Provide excellent customer service and technical support to the workshop teamRequirements:

NVQ Level 2 qualification or relevant proven experience
Current MOT Testing Licence
Full UK driving licence
Previous experience working within an automotive workshop
Strong communication and customer service skills
