We are recruiting for a skilled and experienced MOT Tester to join our client's expanding automotive repair business in East Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional seeking a dynamic role within a reputable, growing company committed to customer safety and high-quality service.
Our client, operating across three sites in Wales, is looking for an MOT Tester to work at their East Cardiff location. As part of the workshop team, you will ensure that all MOT testing is carried out to government standards and contribute to maintaining the safety of road users. You will also support the workshop with diagnosing, vehicle servicing, and repairs where applicable, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.
The successful MOT Tester will have an active Class 4, 5, and 7 MOT testing licence, along with a UK driving licence with minimal points. Qualifications such as IMI or NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair are preferred; however, experienced vehicle mechanics with a valid MOT licence will also be considered. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are essential.
Benefits:
Salary up to £38-40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Overtime paid at an enhanced rate, subject to availability

Support workshop operations to ensure efficient workflow

Ensure high standards of vehicle safety and compliance at all timesRequirements:
Active Class 4, 5, and 7 MOT testing licence
