We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable automotive service centre in North London for the position of MOT Tester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MOT Tester to develop their career within a professional and supportive environment. The successful individual will join a friendly team committed to high standards of vehicle safety and compliance.
Benefits of an MOT Tester:
Competitive salary ranging from £37,000 to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Full-time, permanent contract with regular working hours
Monday to Friday working schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Optional Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Conduct MOT tests in accordance with VOSA regulations
Inspect vehicles and assess their condition for safety and compliance
Complete detailed inspection reports and documentation accurately
Maintain high standards of safety and ensure adherence to testing procedures
Assist with general vehicle repairs and servicing as needed
Work efficiently within the workshop team to ensure timely testing
Keep up to date with current MOT testing standards and regulationsRequirements of an MOT Tester:
Proven experience as an MOT Tester, with relevant qualifications preferred
Full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of current MOT testing standards and procedures
