Job Description
MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician
Yate
Up to £38k
My client is a well-established and respected independent garage with a reputation for quality, reliability, and excellent customer service. They offer a full range of vehicle maintenance, repair, and MOT services for all makes and models. They pride themselves on delivering first-class service and maintaining long-standing relationships with their customers.
Responsibilities:
Perform MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards and regulations
Carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and within given timeframes
Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Provide excellent customer service and support when required
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
Qualified MOT Tester (Class 4 minimum) with a current DVSA license
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
