Are you an experienced Mechanic with a passion for cars and excellent customer service skills G&N Cars is searching for a talented individual to join their team in the Nottingham, Long Eaton area. This family-run garage takes pride in the exceptional service it offers its loyal customers and is looking for a dedicated team player to uphold their high standards.
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced Mechanic – MOT licence is desirable but not essential.
Friendly and approachable attitude.
Strong communication skills – comfortable interacting with customers.
Proactive approach to ordering parts and managing stock.
Flexible, reliable, and keen to work collaboratively in a small team.
Benefits On Offer:
Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
28 days holiday, including bank holidays, plus a Christmas shutdown.
Discounted rates on MOTs and access to parts at company rates.
Core working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm; Alternate Saturdays, 8am – 12pm.
Supportive and flexible working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out vehicle maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
Performing MOT tests (if qualified) or supporting colleagues in the process.
Establishing friendly relationships with customers and providing excellent service.
Ordering and managing stock of car parts efficiently.
Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workshop operations.
