Job Description
Due to business growth our client is looking for someone to join their busy in house workshop team. The job is based at the head office on the industrial estate in Blidworth. The current team are responsible for the maintenance of a range of agricultural equipment including mowers, tractors, strimmers, chainsaws etc as well as servicing and maintaining over 30 vehicles in house, it can be a very busy and challenging environment.
We are looking for someone with Agricultural plant & machinery experience, preferably a vehicle maintenance nvq/qualification and full clean driving license with towing capacity is preferable as driving to breakdowns and towing are part of the role. Welding experience is also preferable. The candidate will ideally have experience in this type of business or similar as although training will be given we need someone who can work under their own steam as well as in the team.
Candidates should have a can do attitude, willing to work to challenging timescales and be flexible, being able to work overtime when needed to get the job done to ensure all our team of over 60 staff remain out on site working.
Hours of work are 7.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday and some Saturday mornings, anything after 4.30pm as overtime.
Pay scale would depend on experience and is negotiable. Overtime can be around 10 hours per week and is paid at time and a half.
