Motor Vehicle Assessor 

Location: Yorkshire
Job Type: Full Time | Permanent
Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 per annum
Essential Requirement: A recognised Assessors qualification (A1/TAQA) and relevant Motor Vehicle qualifications.

The Role

As a Motor Vehicle Assessor you will:

Visiting apprentices in their workplaces to observe practical competence and assess their performance against apprenticeship standards.
Conducting progress reviews with apprentices and employers to monitor development and set clear action plans.
Supporting apprentices to build and maintain their evidence portfolios using the OneFile e-portfolio system (or a similar platform).
Assessing workplace evidence through observations, professional discussions, witness testimonies and questioning.
Providing constructive feedback and coaching to help apprentices improve their skills and remain on track.
Ensuring apprentices are fully prepared for their End-Point Assessment (EPA).
Liaising regularly with employers to monitor attendance, performance and workplace development.
Managing a caseload of apprentices, scheduling workplace visits and maintaining accurate assessment records.

What We're Looking For

A recognised Assessing (essential).
NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle (or equivalent).
Relevant industry experience within the motor vehicle sector.
A passion for teaching and developing future automotive professionals.
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
A commitment to delivering outstanding learning experiences and supporting learner success.
