About the Role
As a Motor Vehicle Lecturer, you'll be delivering engaging, hands-on lessons to students from Level 1 to Level 3, helping them develop the practical and theoretical skills needed for success in the motor industry.
You'll:
Teach and manage learning activities across a range of motor vehicle courses.
Develop and prepare course materials, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Support students through academic and pastoral guidance, acting as a personal tutor where required.
Contribute to course development, quality improvement, and innovative teaching methods.
Support student enrolment, induction, and work placements.
About You
You'll bring enthusiasm, expertise, and a genuine desire to see students thrive.
Essential:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle or equivalent.
Strong industry experience and technical knowledge.
Desirable:
Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
Assessing/Verifying qualifications (A1, V1, TAQA, etc.).
If you don't yet hold a teaching qualification, don't worry - the college will fully fund and support you to achieve this while you work.
