About the Role
We are seeking a Lecturer/Teacher in Automotive Studies to deliver inspiring, high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment that supports outstanding student success and progression. You’ll join a dedicated team of professionals within a well-equipped technical department, with access to excellent facilities and staff development opportunities.
Current programmes include Entry Level, Level 1 and 2, T Levels, and Apprenticeships, with both full-time and part-time study options.
Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons that promote excellent learning outcomes.
*
Provide high-quality tutorials, assessment, and feedback to support learner progress.
*
Record and monitor student progress using the college’s digital systems.
*
Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and maintain accurate administrative records.
*
Attend relevant events such as open evenings, parent meetings, and promotional activities.
Requirements
*
A Level 5 Teaching Qualification (e.g., Certificate in Education or PGCE) or willingness to work towards one.
*
Strong specialist knowledge of the automotive subject area.
*
At least 2 years’ experience teaching the subject (desirable).
*
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (desirable).
