Lecturer in Motor Vehicle Location: Peterborough, UK Salary: Unqualified in Teaching £28,000 - £30,000 per annum plus £3000 Market Rate Teaching Qualified: Point 27-32 £31,000 - £36,000 per annum plus £6000 Market Rate Allowance Are you driven by student success? Do you have a passion for preparing learners for rewarding careers in the motor vehicle industry? We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer in Motor Vehicle to join our team. In this role, you'll support, mentor, and coach apprentices and work-based learners, helping them achieve their goals and thrive in their chosen careers. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching in line with professional standards and the needs of learners. Assess student work, provide timely and constructive feedback, and record progress. Prepare teaching materials, schemes of work, and other course documentation, ensuring they are accessible through shared systems. Foster strong relationships with learners, offering support to ensure their success. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment following approved procedures. What We're Looking For A Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. DTTLS, Diploma in Education and Training, Cert Ed, or PGCE), or willingness to work towards one. Recent, relevant experience in a motor vehicle environment. Motor Vehicle qualification at Level 3 or above (e.g. Level 3/4, HND, degree, or industry-recognised credentials). A passion for inspiring and motivating learners, with the ability to adapt to different needs and learning styles.
