Motor Vehicle Trainer (Heavy Vehicle)

Circa £38,000 p/a
Full-time, permanent
We are working with an education provider in the Manchester area who are looking for a Motor Vehicle Trainer with a Heavy Vehicle specialism. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time and permanent position at a longstanding and reputable education provider.
The role would involve you delivering training to apprentices working towards the Heavy Vehicle standard (up to 12 per class) at the education provider's main training centre in Manchester. You would also get 1 day per week working from home for lesson preparation/marking.
The starting salary for this position is circa £38,000 p/a, which would also include a 6% pension contribution, optional private health care, and 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).
To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-An Automotive qualification
-Experience of Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Please note that the education provider would be able to put you through a teaching qualification and assessor award on the job if you do not already have these.
