Job Description
Role- Injection Moulding Operative/Supervisor
Location- Runcorn
Rotating 3 Shift pattern
06.30am- 3pm
2.30pm-11.00
10.30pm-07.00am.
We are working with a long established Plastic manufacturing company in Runcorn who are looking for a Mould technician to join the team, This is a rotating three shift system, full time, permanent role. You will have expeirence of Manual and Automated Injection mould machinery. Ideally experienced as a supervisor/team leader.
Key duties
* Perform mould changes, material and colour changes.
* Prepare equipment, tools, paperwork, for production setup.
* Monitor daily production and quality control records; identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
* Ensure quality standards and production targets are consistently met.
* Operate machinery efficiently under pressure, minimizing downtime.
* Carry out all necessary manual tasks associated with the moulding process.
* Report any potential issues with equipment, facilities, or safety to management.
* Provide performance feedback and assist in training new starters.
* Suggest improvements to safety, equipment, and operational procedures.
* Maintain and record health and safety checks.
* Provide cover for supervisors and operators during absences
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Organized, motivated, and reliable with good time-management skills.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Confident communicator with a proactive and professional attitude.
* Flexible, dependable, and committed to supporting the team.
* UK driving license is beneficial.
