Overview: Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a Mouldshop Team Leader to join their team.
Remit:
* Seeking a Mouldshop Team Leader, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to lead the company’s busy manufacturing department. You will be required to take ownership of the day-to-day moulding operations, ensuring quality, efficiency and continuous improvement across the shop floor.
* The successful candidate will have proven leadership experience within an injection moulding or plastics manufacturing environment, with strong technical knowledge of injection moulding processes, tooling & materials.

Role:
* Lead and manage the injection moulding team, ensuring targets for quality, output, and efficiency are consistently met.
* Oversee production scheduling, resource planning, and machine utilisation.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve processes, and enhance productivity.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures.
* Provide technical expertise in tooling, mould changes, material selection, and troubleshooting.
* Provide hands-on and technical expertise in process engineering.
* Develop, train, and mentor team members to achieve operational excellence.
* Work closely with other departments (Technical, Quality, Operations) to ensure smooth workflow.
Experience Requirements:
* Proven leadership experience within an injection moulding or plastics manufacturing environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding processes, tooling, and materials.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to technical challenges.
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and people management skills.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
