EXPERIENCED MRF OPERATIONS MANAGER WITH BACKGROUND IN WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING ARENA NEEDED TO OVERSEE BUSY FACILITY IN SHEFFIELD.
JOB TITLE: MRF Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling
Client: My Client is an established company in waste management. They are now looking to recruit a skilled MRF Operations Manager to join their busy facility.
SALARY: Up to £55,000 - £60,000 plus Pension
REGION: Sheffield, and surrounding areas
PREVIOUS ROLES: Previous roles: MRF Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Recycling Site Manager, Site Transfer Supervisor, Depot Manager, RDF Production manager, MBT Plant Manager, SRF Production Manager.
PREVIOUS SECTORS: Waste Management, Hazardous Waste, Plant, Grab Hire, Skips, RoRo’s, Construction, Landfill, Demolition, Metals, Aggregates, Steel, Production, Cement.
ROLE: MRF Operations Manager - Waste Management & Recycling
In this role, you will be in a man – management position where you take a hands-on approach to ensure the optimum production of the facility.
You will oversee all plant operations and ensure the smooth running of process.
Comply with all company health and safety regulations.
Ensure that all KPI’s are met, work towards continuous improvement activity and reduction of downtime.
Assist the maintenance team by undertaking PPM schedules.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Excellent safety record, ideally IOSH or NEBOSH qualified.
* Ideally you will hold a WAMITAB / COTC in treatment and transfer
* You will have strong leadership skills and have previous experience of managing a team.
* Be an excellent communicator verbally and in the written sense.
* Previous exposure to the Waste Management, Recycling or Aggregates industry is a MUST.
* Excellent man and change management skills in a previous role where you may have been a MRF Operations Manager or similar.
